Biography

Janet Rothe (born in 1987) is a German actress. She trained in acting at the Europäisches Theaterinstitut and the Berlin University of the Arts (Universität der Künste Berlin) between 2007 and 2013. Following her studies, she joined the ensemble of the Theater Neumarkt in Zurich starting in the 2013/2014 season, where she performed in various stage productions. Alongside her work on stage, she appeared in short films and film projects, including the film Farbenblind (2012). In cinema, she drew attention playing one of the leading roles in Sinje Köhler's drama film Viva Forever (2021).
